MSO Concertmaster Audition Posting & Job Description

The Marquette Symphony Orchestra is seeking a permanent Concertmaster to begin in the 2025-26 season. The orchestra will have finalists for the position audition during the 2024-25 season.

Applicants should submit a resume and video audition by April 15, 2024. Finalists will be notified by May 15, 2024.

Concertmaster pay is $28/hour with average concert week pay of $430 + mileage and lodging if traveling from outside Marquette County.

Ticket sales only cover a third of our costs. Foundations help, too, but they insist on
